Podcast = A podcast is a digital media file released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication
The word is a portmanteau of the words “pod”— from Apple’s iPod and “broadcasting.” Despite the etymology, it has never been necessary to use an iPod. A commonly used audio file format is MP3. – Wikipedia
A Podcast is audio on-demand content that consists of recurring shows or content collections that is either downloaded or clicked on and listened to immediately – abcyourspace.net.au
Thank you, good radio and fine podcasts. I am a fan, an active listener and a lifelong learner curious about the world beyond the horizon.
As I begin the rewrite of the Podcast Page, I apologize in advance for stray thoughts, lack of punctuation and other stylistic errors.
Show of hands, please – how many listen to podcasts? Listen to podcasts recommended by friends? Listen to podcasts with friends? For those who listen, what sort of habits do you have?
What are your pet peeves/ Personally, I want it to be easier to annotate and share. By annotation, i mean accessing or creating transcripts, complete or just the key points marked via timestamps (time codes). By sharing, I mean I want to be able to share the link, preferably with the Twitter handles of the speakers. Not only do I want to share the content, I want to share who made the content. For programs that overlap with Planeta.com content, I want to be able to add a link or create a page for my own reference and to share with others.
Questions Does your podcast have a playlist? Does your podcast have shownotes? What Twitter accounts are associated with the podcast? How do I subscribe to your podcast? = ¿Cómo puede suscribirse a tu podcast?
