Held every two years Te Matatini Kapa Haka Festival celebrates the cultural dance of the Māori people of New Zealand. Over four days audiences experience the best kapa haka in the world, taste Māori food (kai) and local delicacies and shop for Māori arts and crafts.

2019 dates: February 20-24.
