Tourism trade show = an exhibition at which businesses in the tourism sector promote their products and services
Can tourism trade shows be more engaging? Specifically, can do they be more successful with locals and remote participants? It’s far too easy to have a tourism trade show in which the locals are the luxury add-on instead of a critical partner working in tandem from the start.
Planeta.com is updating our profiles of international tourism trade shows. Suggestions are welcome. We particularly would like to assist and embed/favorite/like/share/tweet friends and friends of friends who attend these events as journalists, researchers, policy-makers, vendors and buyers.
This will also be a challenge of digital literacy – the ability to tweet and retweet, comment and edit, publish, curate and recap. We would love to see the livestreaming videos (official and independent) from Madrid, Durban, Berlin, London, and Acapulco.
